Future of Autos

I have been looking to buy some tech stuffs before the start of the next year. I have been putting off my purchases for a long time now & I guess, it’s about time that I actually did some shopping. One of, the reasons is the fact that there are many offers going around especially on the tech gadgets. On the top of my list are a lightscribe CD and a CD printer. I have been searching for a while for those stuffs & I have come to the conclusion that I might be better off buying a thermal CD printer which is quite economical. In addition to that they don`t make much noise either as, I just tend to go crazy if there`s too much of a noise. So, I guess I am pretty sure as to where I am headed as far as my printer purchase is concerned. Now the other thing is a decent lightscribe CD but I have been advised by my friends & colleagues that it might well be worthwhile to buy lightscribe DVD which would be more beneficial in the long run. Since, those guys are geeky I believe I should follow their advice just to be on the safer side.

When I was a kid, I had a friend who was from the Islamic Republic of Iran. She used to share a lot of stories about Persia (Iran) & all the things Persian. Nonetheless, she used to tell me that my mum should use more pomegranate juice in the food she cooks if possible. She used to say that it was very beneficial for the body. I became so curious that I decided to check all the facts myself. After having whisked through tonnes of pages in the library, I come to the conclusion that she was partly right & partly incorrect. My own little research in the library showed me that pomegranate juice might well have a lot of benefits & in fact pure pomegranate juice can help reduce the risk of developing cancer. But then I read a few scholarly journals which indicated that the tests on 100% pomegranate juice was still a study in progress & new facts keep coming every other day. One of the risks to come up is the fact that it might not be suitable for people suffering from blood sugar as it contains a large quantity of sugar. In fact the level of sugar in pomegranate juice has been found to exceed the amount specified by WHO i.e, the World Health Organization. So, to conclude the pomegranate juice does contain some benefits but it has risks associated with it as well.

My friend is a big fan of arts. He has got a massive collection relating to all sorts of art forms. From paintings to statues, you name it… he has got it! In the beginning, when he was a kid he used to get regular art supplies from his local store and he created some wonderful art forms himself. But slowly he turned from an artist to someone who would take a keen interest in artist materials & went on to become an art collector. I am not sure as to how or why that change occurred. Maybe he doubted his abilities, although I think with more practise he might well have become a good artist but then, I am his friend & so, maybe I am a little biased. Whatever the reason might be he has now turned into a huge art collector. The kind of collection that he has got is stunning. I believe not many people can afford to have that sort of a collection not even die hard art enthusiasts. He has spent close to a million dollars collecting them. I used to think that he might well have spent a little too much on them but then I was taken aback one day, when one of the art galleries offered to buy one the paintings that he has got for around ten million dollars. Although he refused to accept their offer that precise moment made me to believe that it has been a perfect investment too.

Honda is a world leader when it comes to automotive innovation. Paving the way with new innovations in the field of electrical powered vehicles Honda is making a resurgence in this field.

While electric vehicles are nothing new and have been around almost since the day the automobile was born, however their ability to become a mainstay in the car market has been a long road due to many constraints such as range and affordability. Due to lack of marketing electric vehicles never really caught on and were overpowered by the gas engine vehicles.

However, more-so now than ever electric vehicles are making a push into a wider market based on the demand for cleaner cars, and the environmental pressures continually being put on auto manufacturers today. As our awareness of our cars effects on the planet became more well known, there began a resurgence in development in electric automobile technology. Honda had made many new advancements in battery technology, which was by far one of the major problems with electric vehicles. However despite tremendous breakthroughs in battery technology, range of electric powered vehicles was still limited, and as such demand for such vehicles continued to be limited.

Until recently very few automakers have made the push in marketing electric cars on a broader range. Honda is now pushing harder then ever in their marketing efforts for them and anticipates that by the year 2020 that 10% of all their car sales will be of electric cars. Their strategy is a smart one, with oil prices continuing to rise the desire for more fuel efficient autos also rise, and with these cars requiring no fuel, the attraction is growing.

A recent study was done in Japan in which consumers were asked what type of vehicle they would most likely consider buying for their next car, the study concluded that 9% of all respondents chose an electric vehicle for their next car purchase, and in the US the same study concluded that 8% of American’s would chose an EV for their next car. With the growing interest in cleaner burning, zero emission vehicles, manufacturers are starting to make the shift, to what will ultimately reduce carbon emissions drastically by 2050.
